Eligibility requires having a startup idea and partnering with an official designated organization.
An innovative idea with global competitive potential
A Letter of Support from an Angel Investor (minimum investment of \$75,000), Venture Capital firm (minimum \$200,000), or acceptance into an Incubator Immigration Advice Service
Having effective managerial ownership in the business
You must hold at least 10% of the voting rights.
Together with the organization, your combined share must control more than 50% of the voting rights.
Language proficiency at CLB 5 level
An IELTS General or CELPIP score equivalent to CLB 5 (minimum in all four skills)
Proof of financial ability
Providing proof of freely available and transferable funds to support yourself and your family after arriving in Canada
