Individuals meeting the requirements below can sponsor their legal spouse or common-law partner through this program. The person intending to marry or already married and wishing to bring their spouse\/partner to Canada acts as the sponsor, while the spouse\/partner is the sponsored person. Both must meet the necessary conditions.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Requirements_for_the_Sponsor\"><\/span>Requirements for the Sponsor<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"auto\">The sponsor can include the legal spouse or common-law partner, along with dependent children.
